Family Friendly Fun every Sunday

Every Sunday 14.00 - 16.00 Free family friendly acitivities in the Pitt Rivers and the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Activity backpacks, sorting boxes, trails, colouring sheets and craft activities.

Every weekend in October 
Borrow drawing, colouring and collage materials from the art trolley and get creative in the Museum.

Explorers and Adventurers Go on a journey of discovery with adventurous animals and intrepid travellers. Explore, create, and excavate! (Joint with Oxford University Museum of Natural History)

Food for Thought What's in an Aztec feast or an Inuit meal? Forage for favourite foods from across the globe and create a pot to put your snacks in!

Wow! How? Special Science Festival Event:

Wow! How? Make, test, explore, and explode with excitement at our annual bonanza of experiments and hands-on fun. Recommended for ages 8+.

Eggsplore the Museums with an eggciting egg-hunter’s trail. This is a joint event with Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

Discover the clothing, crafts and culture of Native American peoples and make a dreamcatcher! Object handling and family tours.

Rummage around the museums for bits ‘n’ bobs to create your own magnificent work of art! This is a joint event with Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

Olympic trail Trail: Olympic Adventure Trail

Compete in the museums’ games to gain points and earn your place on our winners’ podium. Will you win bronze, silver or gold? This is a joint event with Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
